OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY.
The following provides detail about our Privacy Policy. In general, we use the personal information that we collect from you to keep a record of our membership and to process orders and match your needs.
Note: This policy only applies to the Holy Trinity Tattershall Friends (HTTF) website (www.httf.org) and not to the websites of other companies, individuals or organisations to which we provide links. Some of the facilities referred to in this document, such as the ability to purchase goods online or enter competitions, may only be made available on this website at a later date.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Your confidentiality and privacy is of paramount importance to us. Your personal information will be used by us in order to process your HTTF membership, orders for souvenir items and for the other purposes described below. We will only use your information and disclose it to third parties for these purposes and not for any other purposes. All orders for products will be dispatched to you promptly and in plain packaging.
CONSENT
You signify your consent to us collecting and using this information for these purposes by your use of this website. Should we for any reason elect to change our Policy, we will try to email you if any such change will materially affect how we use your information. However, we encourage users to be responsible about their privacy and to check this Policy from time to time.
Note: The information that you submit may be transferred outside the European Economic Area for processing by or on behalf of Holy Trinity Tattershall Friends (for example by HTTF’s credit card processing partner). By placing an order you consent to this transfer.
Your data may sometimes be used by us to inform you about changes to our website, new services and offers that you might find interesting. We will ask for your permission before informing you of any such new services and offers.
Holy Trinity Tattershall Friends reserves the right to access and disclose your personal information in order to comply with applicable laws, to comply with lawful requests from governments, law enforcement agencies or parties whose request we reasonably consider to be justified in connection with any allegations by any party about your abuse of our services, to operate our systems properly or to protect ourselves or our users.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW IS IT USED?
1. When you apply for membership or order a product from us, you will be asked to input details including your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number, expiry date and how you heard about HTTF. These details allow us to process your membership and/or orders and to let you know the status of your order. If you choose to withhold information we may not be able to process an order you have made or send out products you have requested.
2. If you enter a contest or promotion we will ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This is so we can administer the contest and inform the winners.
3. We use information collected about you to help us develop the design and layout of our website to ensure that our sites are as useful and enjoyable as possible.
WILL WE DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT TO THIRD PARTIES?
Holy Trinity Tattershall Friends may provide aggregate statistics about our membership, customers, traffic patterns and other site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any information that could personally identify you.
As our Charitable Foundation and its associated business develops we may buy or sell subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We will operate strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access, so as to comply with the UK Data Protection Act of 1998. This means that sometimes we may ask for proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
